The Misfits Love a Good Party
Life at Misfit Ranch is usually filled with hikes, training sessions, enrichment, belly rubs, and plenty of muddy paw prints... but every now and then, we like to celebrate with the incredible community that makes our mission possible.
Throughout the year, we host and participate in a handful of special events, fundraisers, community gatherings, and meet-and-greets. They're a chance to meet some of the Misfits, learn more about our mission, and have a little fun while helping dogs in need.

🎉 It's raffle time! 🎉
🐾 A few incredibly generous members of our community recently donated some wonderful items for the purpose of helping Misfit Ranch raise funds for projects around the property. We are so thankful for their kindness and support! Over the next several weeks, we'll be raffling off each of these amazing donations one at a time, with every dollar raised going right back into improving the Ranch so we can welcome more Misfits in need.
🎟️ Our first raffle item is a Grand Carpet Mill for medium and large breed dogs! This gently used mill was only used for a short time by two dogs ranging from 45 to 90 lbs and comes with both a medium and a large harness, making it ready for its next adventure.
🐕 If you've never heard of a carpet mill before, think of it as a self-propelled treadmill for dogs. Unlike a motorized treadmill, your dog controls the pace completely, allowing them to comfortably walk, trot, or run at the speed they choose.
🌵 Carpet mills are a fantastic way to provide exercise during our extreme summer temperatures, on poor weather days, or anytime getting outdoors isn't an option. They're especially popular with active dogs, working breeds, and anyone looking for a safe, convenient way to help their dog burn energy at home.
