There are many ways to support the Misfits, and every one of them helps provide second chances for dogs who need them most. Whether you'd like to make a monetary donation, sponsor a Sanctuary Misfit, contribute supplies, support one of our Ranch projects, include Misfit Ranch in your legacy plans, or simply shop through one of our partner programs, you'll find a variety of ways to get involved below.
Misfit Ranch Rescue & Sanctuary is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all eligible donations made to Misfit Ranch are tax-deductible as allowed by law. A donation receipt is always available upon request.
However you choose to support our mission, please know that your generosity directly impacts the lives of the dogs who call Misfit Ranch home.

Donations help us to provide food, medical care, rehabilitative services, medication and training for our residents. It also helps to replenish our rescue fund so that as soon as a resident is adopted, we can save another dog in need.

Shop our wishlist on Amazon for items we regularly are in need of and some things that will help us with expansion.
To donate towards our expansion efforts, you can make a donation in any amount directly to our account with Nevada State Bank with any major credit card, debit card or by bank transfer. Monetary donations towards expansion help us to purchase supplies and rent equipment needed to continue construction on the property.
Our current list of Ranch Projects can be found at the bottom of our WISHES page and can be sponsored in whole by a person, family, business or organization. Your donation will include recognition on our website, with the link to your business or organization (if you choose). All sponsored projects will have its sponsor's name built into the project, whether structurally or as a sign, and an announcement of your generous support will be made on social media!
Whether we are transporting dogs to veterinary appointments, welcoming new Misfits to the Ranch, heading to meet and greets or responding to emergency situations, dependable transportation is one of the most important tools we have.
Our current rescue vehicle has faithfully served the misfits for many years, but after 24 years on the road and countless miles dedicated to the dogs, we’re beginning to plan for its well-earned retirement by searching for a more reliable replacement.
If you’d like to sponsor the transportation of the Misfits by donating an SUV, we’d be honored to recognize your generosity with a permanent acknowledgment on our website and recognition on social media. We are currently in need of a Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon XL or Ford Excursion, as these are the only vehicles we found that comfortably accommodate six large dog crates allowing us to safely transport multiple dogs at once and access our off grid property by dirt road roads.

If you have new or gently used items on hand that you'd like to donate we can schedule a pick up date and time and greatly appreciate you thinking of us. Dog food, treats, chews, toys, blankets, towels, skin care, supplements and more are always needed. We also connect with quite a few other local organizations and pool our donations to ensure the ones who need it most never go without. If you're unsure who is in most need of your donations, we'd are happy to accept, contact and distribute. It truly takes a village and we love our community!

We have multiple events every year where we like to get the community involved by giving away gifts through raffle or holding a silent auction. The items raffled and auctioned off are goods, services and experiences donated by businesses in the community for this purpose. The money raised from these events have helped to pay for surgeries for our residents, have refilled our rescue fund and have helped to purchase much needed construction supplies for our expansion.
