Sponsor a Rescue
Community support is essential to provide the level of care we do to our rescues and every little bit helps. Rescue sponsors help to ensure that a rescue's monthly needs can be met and can also help by filling the rescue reserve when its depleted to help plan for unexpected vet visits. We also utilize rescue sponsors to help fill the incoming rescue fund, which helps cover the financial costs of saving a rescue from euthanasia.

Many of our rescues and sanctuary residents are in need of daily dietary support. Allergy relief, joint and muscle support, immune boosters and bladder support are some of what we provide. On average, the cost of providing the relief our rescues need is about $25 per month per dog.
All of our rescues are provided nutritious meals twice a day (3-4 times a day for emaciated rescues and those under 6 months old). The food provided is based on the dog's nutritional needs and while some cost a little more thank others, the average cost for feeding our rescues is about $50 per month.
The age of some of the rescues we take in is a mystery and veterinary staff often struggle with an estimate. Neglect, abuse and malnutrition can take a toll on a dog's overall health but knowing their approximate age can be vital in ensuring they get the care that they need.
All of our new rescues go through an intake process that includes an exam, grooming, nutritional assessment, allergy testing, DNA testing, decompression protocol if needs (such as CBD) and a treatment plan. Our cost to cover the initial intake of a rescue is $300.
Prior to becoming available for adoption, all of our rescues are provided a full set of vaccinations, microchipping and are spayed/neutered. The cost to provide the medical services, along with post-op medications and a cone or surgery suit is on average $350.
All of our rescues are provided a different level of professional training, based on their age and need, to ensure success in their future forever homes. From potty training, name imprinting, recall, crate training, leash manners and basic commands to full behavior modification and advanced skills like scent work and working dog evaluations, we have trainers that do it all! The programs we provide range in cost from $1500-$4500 but our trainers volunteer their services while we cover the cost of the equipment and tools needed for the programs (special leashes, collars, puppy pads, training treats, training cots, specialized crates, and more). On average, we spend about $350 on equipment to train each of our rescues.
