Drako
Drako is estimated to be about 2 years old but his age is unknown. We are hoping to Age Test him soon. If you'd like to sponsor his age test, he'd love your support!
Drako is believed to be a Cane Corso or Cane Corso mix. His DNA test results are pending and will be posted as soon as we have them.
Drako was found by management abandoned in a local apartment when the tenant left the state and bailed on the lease. We were asked to step in to prevent him from being taken to the shelter and potentially euthanized.

We picked him up the same day and while underweight, was in good health otherwise.
We provided Drake with a full set of vaccinations, had him chipped and he was neutered on June 2nd, 2025. It was discovered during his intake exam that he had cryptochordism (undescended testicle), which was addressed during his neuter surgery and was successful.

His nutritional panel to test for food allergies is pending.
Drake is house trained, crate trained and has basic obedience training and is great in public.
Drako has been great with all people and is great with kids. We have been unable to introduce him to other dogs because he went from intake to surgery and is now in recovery but he has been nonreactive to the other Misfit residents around him and has shown interest in playing with them all. This leads us to believe he is dog friendly and we will update this status as soon as we know more.

Drako is an affectionate boy that would do well in any home environment (house, apartment, etc.), with the proper love and attention he deserves!
