Theo

Theo's estimated birthday is October 8th, 2024

Glitch's DNA test revealed that he is 66% American Staffordshire Terrier, 20% American Pit Bull Terrier, 6% Bulldog, 3% American Bulldog, 2% Neapolitan Mastiff, 2% French Bulldog and 1% Mastiff. View his Wisdom Panel Results for more information!

Theo was brought into a Las Vegas shelter after being hit by a car and left in the road. He was unable to move his right front leg and was in a lot of pain causing him to withdraw and shut down.

We rescued him from the shelter and he was immediately taken into surgery, turning him into the amazingly inspirational tripod that he is today!

Misfit Ranch provided Theo full body x-rays and testing due to the cause of his injury and he has been give a clean bill of health. His only injury was his leg. He is in good health, was neutered during his amputation surgery to save him from another procedure, up to date on vaccinations and was chipped. His latest weigh in was 55 lbs.

Theo has been receiving red light therapy, physical therapy and hydrotherapy as part of his recovery and has done wonderfully. Continuing these supportive services is not necessary but his forever family will get continued support with complimentary red light therapy, grooming, home exercises that can be done, a list of supportive supplements that can be added to meal time and a referral for aquatic therapy if interested.

Theo is house trained, crate trained and we are currently working on basic obedience. His adoptive family will receive complimentary training sessions after his transitional period for continued support.

Despite his start in life, Theo hasn't met a person he doesn't fall in love with and is the happiest of boys. He loves to play, chew, get belly rubs and cuddle on the couch.

Theo is both kid and dog friendly, but his rough play style may not be suitable for every pup. A meet and greet would be needed for any potential pack mates. He's the sweetest boy and is still learning how to play with others. Having a pack mate to help teach him would be wonderful for him.

We love this happy little boy and we are sure you will too!
Thank you for taking the time to visit Misfit Ranch online and for reading about our boy Theo.
